The market of hobbyist and commercial unmanned aerial vehicles (drones, quadcopters, multicopters) grows exponentially worldwide.

 

Today drones carry out a wide scope of tasks including aerial photography and video filming, crop dusting, law enforcement surveillance and infrastructure monitoring, rescue missions, goods delivery and even constructional works. A number of manufacturers such as DJI, Parrot, 3D Robotics, Hubsan, Blade, JJRC, Syma Toys, UDI RC Toys, Walkera, WLToys, Cheerson, Hobbico, Yuneec, Tarot, and many others permanently produce new drone models and upgrade the existing ones. It is before long that drones will get smaller, smarter and more “fly alone” than today, thus becoming a ubiquitous and inherent element of the technosphere.
